Welcome to Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir! Upon arrival at Srinagar International Airport, our representative will greet you and assist with your transfer to the hotel or houseboat. After checking in, relax and freshen up. In the evening, enjoy a leisurely shikara ride on the serene Dal Lake, soaking in the beauty of the lake and the surrounding Zabarwan Mountains. Stroll around the vibrant local markets, where you can shop for traditional Kashmiri handicrafts, such as pashmina shawls and carpets. Return to your hotel/houseboat for a comfortable overnight stay in Srinagar.
After an early breakfast, set off for Pahalgam, a picturesque hill station located about 95 kilometers from Srinagar. En route, stop at the saffron fields of Pampore and the ancient Awantipora ruins, which date back to the 9th century. On reaching Pahalgam, explore the breathtaking Betaab Valley, known for its stunning scenery and Bollywood movie fame. You can also enjoy a short trek, horse ride, or leisurely stroll to the Baisaran Valley, often referred to as "Mini Switzerland." After soaking in the beauty of Pahalgam, return to Srinagar by evening. Enjoy a relaxing dinner and overnight stay at your hotel/houseboat.
After breakfast, proceed to Gulmarg, a mesmerizing hill station located about 50 kilometers from Srinagar. Renowned for its lush meadows, snow-capped peaks, and adventure sports, Gulmarg offers a unique experience. Enjoy a ride on the famous Gulmarg Gondola (Asia’s highest cable car) to the scenic Khilanmarg or Apharwat Peak, where you can witness panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. Adventure enthusiasts can indulge in skiing, snowboarding, or tobogganing during the winter season. After an exciting day in Gulmarg, return to Srinagar in the evening. Relax and enjoy your final night in the valley at your hotel/houseboat.
After breakfast, check out from your hotel/houseboat and proceed to Srinagar International Airport for your onward journey. Bid farewell to the enchanting Kashmir Valley, carrying memories of its unparalleled beauty and charm.
